In 2009 I traveled for one year trough Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and a few islands of Thailand as a backpacker. If you want to meet up with other backpackers, finding a car, finding a job or finding travel mates, you had to put an advertisement on a billboard in one of the sleeping places. Or you could search the internet in the hope you could find any information on different websites.  I noticed that almost every backpacker uses a mobile device, such as a mobile phone, laptop or tablet and thought “Why not create a website for backpackers were you can find all this stuff in one place?”

That’s why I started this website, so all the backpackers can find the most needed stuff on one website.
